Hey everyone!

My name is Romme, and I’ve been playing WoW since around 2011.

The first character I leveled and maxed out was a Beast Mastery Hunter and many more after that. While I’ve played a variety of classes and roles, my favorite has always been Mistweaver Monk. I enjoy the challenge of keeping health bars healthy ;). Raiding and Mythic+ is what I focus most on. I enjoy the strategy, the teamwork, and of course, a little bit of goofing around in between.

I found Starship through Detrix and Pir, and I’m really enjoying my time here. The raid team and community have made it an awesome place. I mainly focus on PVE content, but I do some PVP from time to time for a bit of variety.

As for my goals, I always strive for Keystone Master and Ahead of the Curve. In PVP, I aim for 1800 rating. anything beyond that is a bonus! When I’m not raiding or pushing keys, you can probably find me on the default AFK spot on top or close to the auction house. I’m excited to continue progressing with the team and see what challenges the next tier brings.

Started my WoW journey at the behest of a friend, when I was just out of my teens. That was in the very end of Vanilla, as a tiny rogue who didn't know anything about the world.

Within about 12 levels I changed to Enhancement Shaman, but in my first Wailing Caverns run it was decided that "you shaman, you heal". So it was that I ported back to Orgrimmar and ended up leveling to 70 entirely as resto. Only after I had started my shadow priest later, did I understand how painfully slow it had been.. Met someone from the same country in a dungeon while leveling my shamans, and once geared up, was invited to raid with them. As they say - once a healer, always a healer.

I always really loved dungeon content, both while leveling and in endgame as well. we had some crazy runs with our friend group back then - like all tauren run with one warrior and 4 shamans. Just imagine four sets of totems permanently down back then, and everyone with /moo macrod to some spells .. When you died, you were in for some /moobagging while being resed.

I've been really drawn to monk over the last patch, but the devs seem to think it should be a more hardcast centric spec so I've gone back to my roots that I used to play throughout T5-6 in TBC and most of Wrath - priest.

When I'm not playing WoW or working, I'm enjoying some tea, coffee or brewing/enjoying mead or wine, working out or playing something else, preferably a co-op game or twisted madness called Overwatch.

I found the guild on the forums after wanting a little change of pace, and talk with Ollie hinted this is where I want to be. The last months have only reinforced that feeling, especially throughout the raids, which was my pain point before.

Hey, I'm Steve, I'm a lot newer to the World of Warcraft, having joined during the early stages of Legion. However, seeing that 2016 was (somehow) 8 years ago, I don't think I can claim to be a WoW baby anymore!

I started as a Pandaren Warrior, but quickly switched to Nightborne Warlock, which I had as my main up until early BfA. I started tanking in Battle of Dazar'alor as a Highmountain Druid and loved the change in playstyle - more responsibility for routes/positioning and less panic over parses - and definitely started pushing myself further, picking up some nice Mythic+ keys and Mythic raid bosses. I think I was moving house at the time and remember doing Mythic Lady Ashvane whilst sitting on a cardboard box!

The raiding group I was in ended up with double Guardian tanks in Ny'alotha due to the utter insanity of having them stacked to the gills with Twilight Devastation. I knew this wasn't going to be viable long-term, so starting playing around with other options - I landed on Vengeance and haven't looked back since. I love both the mobility and utility of the spec and have definitely had some amusing situations both in keys and raids as a result.

During Dragonflight, I was drifting away from my guild at the time and somehow stumbled across Starship and completely fell in love - I was hooked on this bunch of adorable chaos goblins and was often running between various raid teams and Mythic+ keys!

Going into The War Within, I'm one of the tanks for Chronos - one of Starship's newest raiding teams.

‘‘Hi! I am Paige, aged 27, the journey through the World of Warcraft (WoW) has been a significant part of my life since 2011. During Cataclysm up until Dragon Flight my main character was BM Hunter called 'Brightereyes'. I got my first AotC in Mists of Pandaria whilst killing Garrosh.

During BfA I ran a guild and raid team where we also achieved multiple AoTCs but decided to step down after having our first child. After this my focus has primarily been on PvP, particularly 2v2 arenas, where I have achieved a notable Duelist rating of 2.1k. It was during this time that I had the pleasure of meeting my husband, and together, we aspire to reach a rating of 2.4k in The War Within expansion!

More recently now my children are slightly older, my WoW experience has expanded back to include PvE content through the discovery of Starship during Dragon Flight, I joined one of their community Sunday raid school evenings [would hugely recommend]

This newfound venture has introduced me to a delightful group of individuals with whom I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with. The organisation and dedication from everyone in the team is uncanny and really is a forever home to those who love the game. I am also a proud member of our latest raid team 'Chronos' which has begun heroic progress.’’

‘‘Hallo, I’m Evria, but you can call me Ev. First character in wow was a paladin, because they could do all the cool stuff and wear plate. A holy warrior is just cool! Tanked ICC as paladin, which turned out to be fun. Continued tanking first tier of Cata, but then swapped to warlock and healing second season of cata on the paladin. In Shadowlands I really only raided first season, as paladin tank, where I gave my tank spot to a friend to get him in the team.

Dragonflight took off with trying a new class, hunter. Which I enjoyed tremendously. Did some early tier endgame but stopped a bit into second tier because of real life stuff. Came back late season 2 and joined Starship, which I do not regret. Joined Empire as dps demon hunter, but got asked to step in as a replacement tank. Today I’m still in Empire, and got to tank another tier, which I’m delighted for. This time as a blood death knight, which I haven’t played since WOTLK, a lot has changed. ‘‘

‘‘I found Starship a bit by chance, in their Sunday raids. Had joined another guild as mage for season 3, but the atmosphere and discord just pulled me in while doing that Sunday raid. So I jumped ship. No regrets here.’’

‘‘Favorite raid moment? Been a lot of good moments. But one still lives rent free in my head. Was tanking with a guy in Cata, the pvp weekly boss that drops tier pieces. I asked him to taunt the boss, to which he replied… “taunt? Let me find it in my spellbook”. Yes, he in fact did not have taunt on his bars. We ended up wiping, and laughing. Everyone thought it was funny as hell. To his defensive, he was normally a dps, so no hard feelings. ‘‘

‘I started playing in TBC and my first max level character was an elemental shaman named Mistrias, and I’ve been ‘Misty’ ever since. I’ve enjoyed every expansion since then, with the exception of MoP. Whatever class I’m playing I can spend hours lost in studying gameplay and talent builds. If I’m AFK that’s probably what I’m doing … or eating … or a cat has me hostage.’’

‘‘The group content around M+ and raiding is what really hooks me in, especially progression raiding with a great team (For the Empire!). Zippy leading the dance, Matti’s calls for “Rally!!!” and the chaotic joy when the final boss goes down – it’s addictive! I’m usually aiming each season for at least AoTC and KSM.’’

How did I find Starship? I’m still not quite sure what happened …

Standout experiences in game?

⦁ ‘Champion of the Naaru’ and ‘The Undying’ and ‘Salty’ titles!

⦁ Progging Icecrown Citadel for weeks and finally downing the Lich King! ( kind of miss 10-man raiding)

⦁ Met a cute resto druid one time in Dalaran – we’re still questing through life together 16 years later!

Game philosophy: ‘I might not be the best, but I’m the best I can be’on goes here

''I started playing in Cataclysm when I was a little kid without knowing English. I loved Pandaria the most, but stayed for Dragonflight, it was when I got fully into WOW as I had never done any endgame before and Starship was my first guild and it fit like a glove. I had just finished university so I had a lot of time on my hands, I got into 2 raid teams (at the time the only raid teams) Empire and Phoenix, both which I love to participate in.

My favourite moment if I can name any single moment was to learn the game at the beginning by Das and Rawley through M+ grinding.

Empire is like one of the all time greats yet even better in practically, no one does it quite like them, nothing beats the great atmosphere when the teams lock and loaded. Healers that keep the team together by a string, some mischievous people that try to get everyone killed, the people that try their luck at death rolling for profits, the people that eagerly and maliciously compete for the top DPS spot, the early bed timers, the earlier risers and lastly the people that say they will show up but don't - those are particularly the goats.

Phoenix is like as if a raid team could feel like a well balanced and healthy family it is a great social experience through and through. All curated by Adam and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is a great deal of people from varies ages and experiences and it culminates in great Wednesday nights every week, it alone is worth a sub.''

‘‘I'm Simon! I've been raiding in wow since sometime in Wotlk, but no matter the guild, progress always seemed to halt after a few tiers, either burnout or people leaving in expansion lulls (MoP WoD especially). That seems to have changed with me joining (being indoctrinated) in Starship!

Our glorious leader Adam is always on top of having a few raid teams available, which means anyone of any skill level has a chance to participate!

Personally I prefer pushing the limits of whatever character I am playing, through extensive sims and friendly (consensual) DPS races, which is all the more fun due to the wonderful people of our community!’’

I have been playing on and off since end of cataclysm/beginning of MOP. Was a solo player until i joined this community so all my organized (lmao) raiding moments are from DF.

I'm part of the raiding teams Phoenix and Empire (pls don't kick me out Zippy and Adam).

Other key info about me is probably that i will buy you a falafel and a wow token if it will be even mildly funny, i will beg anyone/Dave for a Falafel halfway through a raid fight, and i fucking love dwarfs!!! like their beards are so fluffy and their bellies are so nice and round!!! i want them carnally... also i want to be able to grow a beard like that irl... Luxx, wanna have a Falafel on Daves dime while we discuss Dwarf beards? you can cut this stuff out btw, i know you live in england, but Dave said he'll pay so idgaf. We can invite Matt and Misty too!!!! omg!!! i'm getting so excited see you guys soon!’’
